It's been a long time since I've posted/updated on here and I have been busy these past few years with moving 2 times, a new job, and so much more including persuing IVF - followed by more loss and ending with this true gift sent to us by our Jack rabbit in heaven, our little man! Now I'm back and ready to get making things again with the help of my beautiful little model, who is sporting his GWM colorblock bunnyhug in size 12m to 3t made by me... His Mama. 💕 Grow with me clothes are SO handy when you have a little one that is constantly moving up in sizes every few months. He may only be 17 months right now but he fits a 2T already. Prices will vary based on sizing and materials (big kid sizes are available as well).

Finally back to the sewing machine after a bit of a hiatus due to family/work stuff. Life has been a bit chaotic lately. I'm so glad I can finally get back to this big project for my dear friend. This is the first block of many to be formed into a very special baby quilt. 😍

Sorry for being so quiet lately. I was super busy with Christmas orders (which, of course I forgot to take pictures of.... Feel free to post pics of the Christmas orders if you have any!) Plus! I have been working on a super special project for a special someone. One of my longest and dearest friends was blessed with a beautiful rainbow baby boy and I am currently working on spoiling the crap out of him! ^.^ I lost the pictures I had of the minky reusable wipes and minky blanket I've made and sent but here are a few more items that he will be receiving in the mail soon with much much more to come! I am calling this, the Lincoln collection 😘

I am so terrible at posting! Lol, November/December tends to suck the life out of me. 😂 Anyways, these little goodies found their way to their new home this week. 😍 I'm also currently working on one big project for a very close friend of mine which I will post soon.

Our Story

My name is Stephanie Galloway. I am a Grade 1/2 teacher in Saskatchewan and lover of Arts and Crafts! I have always enjoyed being crafty. When I was in grade 7, I decided I wanted to learn how to sew and design clothing so I signed up for sewing classes and off I went! Many years later, I decided to teach myself how to crochet one summer in 2012 and I loved it! As life caught up with me, my love of sewing and crochet ended getting put on the back burner. It actually wasn’t until I got pregnant at Christmas of 2014, that I decided to start sewing and crocheting again. Unfortunately, that pregnancy ended in an early miscarriage but my craftiness is what kept me grounded. I suffered another early loss in November of 2015 and then later found myself pregnant with my son Jack in September of 2016.

Throughout my pregnancy with Jack, I was riddled with anxiety and terrified of losing him but again, it was my craftiness that kept me sane. I started designing my own crochet patterns, modifying others’ patterns and really got into it but started running out of people to give projects to! On May 11 2017, my son Jack Ryan Galloway was born at 39 weeks. Sadly, Jack was born still due to a cord accident. His loss was earth shattering to the very core. My heart shattered into millions of tiny pieces. After his loss, I found it very difficult to focus on anything other than my grief so I decided to challenge myself by teaching myself how to knit. Knitting ended up saving me. It quieted my mind and relaxed me. From there, I decided to create Jack Rabbit Gifts. I wanted to honour my son’s memory and give back in whatever way I was capable of.
