Hey lovelies!

BIG life update- I’m pregnant!

I have been super quiet on here the past few months and that’s because - whew , it’s been a busy time full of a lot of happy changes. I got married to the loml, honeymooned across Italy, bought a new home and now I’m pregnant!

With that has come a slow down here- my items are no longer available in store or on Etsy as I reeled back so I could focus on my life. That being said, my obsession with jewelry hasn’t gone away. I still rock my goodies daily and I want to keep being able to adorn ya’ll with gold goodies too.

Sooo with that- I am offering cute custom sets of jewelry at a very reasonable price. So far I have sent out sets of 4 pieces ( mix of necklaces , earrings, rings, arm band etc) based on YOUR vibe for $75.

I am open to doing 2 or 3 piece sets as well if that’s more your budget, either way DM me!

Thank you for still being here and even though I am slowing down a bit I have a strong feeling I’ll be back in no time AND I’ll still be posting cute items, inspo and updates!!

I got some good news and some not so good news..

Good news - I’m so excited to be adding some printed silk scarves to the shop 😍 I’ve always loved adding them to a simple outfit and I’m excited for y’all to try em too!

Not so good news - the big restock I’ve been planning is being pushed to March 9th.

With that being said, this restock is gonna be worth the wait. I have a bunch of new items, and a restock of the zodiac chains too.

Let’s chat about the adornment of gold accessories!

Historically speaking you can date the use of gold accessories back to the Nubian Egyptians, Indian kingdoms, and Mesopotamians eras. They used their adornments to signify wealth and status.

The more recent rise in these gold goodies can be attributed to the black and brown trend setters of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, but these trends were adopted quickly or widely accepted off the jump.

Previously there was a stigma around the adornment of rings, stacked chains and bracelets, hoops, nose clasps, etc. It could be attributed to racial biases and the idea that over accessorizing wasn’t fashionable or seen as “ghetto” , which if you look at the people and then back to the cultures and how they are known for these adornment - it’s in their roots and its royal!

Nowadays these adornments are WAY more commonplace, but I think it’s important to know the history behind the items we decide wear so that we can respect where they came from, as well as understand the significance these items may carry for someone else!

Not only are these adornments a beautiful thing to share with each other but also a deep rooted cultural significance we get to continue to take part in 💛

Ever wonder why my logo is an evil eye?

The inspo for my logo with that uniquely ornate eye came from my draw to the classic eye amulet, and my moms Indian culture.

The eye amulet is believed to indicate spiritual protection, and my logo being the eye amulet surrounded by an Indian style design- I’m hoping I can combine the two. A mixture of the beautifully intricate, royally adorned and spiritually protected.

Being a mixed race kid you constantly get pulled one way or another when it comes to identity when in reality I get to be a wonderful mixture of two things. That’s why I love my mix of healing crystals with street style freshness.

I can’t wait for y’all to see the new items I’m adding to the shop, they are different but just as cuuuuute. New items will be released end of March so stay tuned!
