The day is coming in gigantic steps. I’m not ok, I have remembered and cried for every memory every first, every last. But how do you get going when your first love dies. My dad passed away a year ago today. In this year I have not been able to knit anything, I lost my business partner and I lost myself. After a terrible time in which I separated myself from my family for fear of feeling too much, I ended up in the hospital. I asked to not be visited, I asked to be alone. In that time I thought about every word, every trip, every adventure, and most of all every kiss. I have always been close to my dad, but as close as someone can be when you live 2 countries away. I have felt this year eating me up alive.

Autumn Dreaming
Autumn Dreaming is a collection from inspired by the joy and beauty found in nature and in the wonders of everyday life. A hike in the mountains, coffee with friends, a great piece of poetry or music, a withered leaf, children playing…

I was invited to create a pattern that with play with form, texture and color to create a dreamy and exciting size-inclusive pattern with a great fit and a modern look. For that I have used divina yarn made by baby alpaca that is very soft.
I have created 2 patterns; one which is a beginner pattern, a cardigan that will have a shawl collar cables on each side and seed stitch sleeves showing the Rocky Mountains that inspired this cardigan.
There is a second pattern that I will show you is more of an intermediate knitters or adventurous beginners. This pattern that plays with texture and nature in a more complex way

This sumen I felt like a model. I enjoyed me so much! I partied with my body my mind and my heart. I was so happy to enjoy these love moments with some of my favourite people and I gave myself this wonderful present, the by this top is a work of art. I used some of my yarn from that I was waiting to use for something magnificent and the agosto top is that. Thank you Hailey

My stunning mom deserved an exceptional birthday surprise, so Diego surprised us with an amazing outing. We took her to a dazzling Cirque de Soleil show and for drinks in the quaint Old Port, making it a memorable celebration.
