Threads is open every Friday, and any day by appointment.


Bookbinding courses start in September, please register your interest at the shop, or via messenger.

No one has to be an expert at anything to enjoy doing it. I've been crocheting a lot lately and trying to get the hang of linen which behaves very differently from wool and cotton. This is a market bag that uses simply single and triple crochet, as well as chaining.

I'll be working on this today. Drop in with your own handwork for crafting compa nonstop.

If you weren't able to make it on Friday, Threads will be open today, Monday, May 11 from 12 to 5pm. Fiona, from Fair Shores Leatherwork will be there with her creative work. She takes commissions and enjoys talking about project ideas.
