I love designing and making hats and outfits for babies. I work with a number of photographers that use my pieces for their newborn and cake smash sessions. It makes me feel special to be chosen to enhance an experience and photos that will become a piece of their family history.

This particular ensemble was a customer order for a special little guy for his 1st birthday cake smash!! I made 2 hats options : a traditional newsie hat and a criss cross detailed cap, and two bow tie options....just what I do! Always trying to go the extra mile to ensure my clients are satisfied.

Everyone loves shoes!!! They can make the outfit, they almost always fit (no matter how much your weight may change!), they can be stylish and functional. These fun double soled slippers are inspired by an icon shoe and can be made in a variety of colours and sizes. (also come in high tops)

With back to school many kids will be resuming their sports and extra curricular activities. I made this custom scarf for one very special HOCKEY MOM. The custom made logo is that of her daughters hockey team and it even had built in fleece lined mittens, to keep her paws warm during those long hours at the rink. Cowls or Snoods have been a HUGE request over the past year. I have made a number of different versions for both children and adults. Check out the different styles; including different animals; Foxes, Bears, even a unicorn, as well as a multicoloured rainbow version for a very special little girl!

Snoods can also be lined in fleece or add a matching pair of mittens for an additional charge.

I've come to realize that I am a great crocheter...not so great at updating my social media or website.

There are a ton of new items I have been working on and added to the inventory of products I can create. I've taken pictures of EVERYTHING so prepare to be inundated with images of fabulous creations made by yours truly.

So...is there such a thing as too much yarn? As someone who makes a living crocheting, I'd have to say emphatically NO... (I'm sure my husband would disagree ;)

I just added this to my already well stocked inventory by acquiring yarn from a couple of ladies who were clearing out their stock piles...

What do you think...TOO MUCH?

This cute little baseball hat and diaper cover was made for a special little guy whose mom is a huge baseball fan/player. Lil man decided to arrive early so I added a surprise for him by embroidering his name on the bum. Welcome to the world baby Kalin!!

Even though the big winter rush has ended (I can almost see spring) I have been kept busy working on lots of newborn orders for upcoming arrivals...everything from hats to booties, blankets to loveys (a combination blanket and stuffed animal) and even a set of stuffies!!!! I love babies!!

Awhile back I wrote about a hat I had created for a little girl that was stolen from her while at school. I was able to create another hat (even better in my opinion) and added a special little something to hopeful ensure no one ever steals it again.
What do you think?

Is this something I should offer as an option on my lined hats?
