That picture at the top of my page is my mother Jenny and that's me she's smiling at. My mom was trained as a seamstress in Holland and worked at a factory there sewing corduroy pants for men. When they immigrated to Canada she was a stay at home mom who did all of those tasks you see pictured in my products - cooking, cleaning, entertaining, mothering and, what she loved to do the best was sewing
. Because my parents were immigrants they started with nothing and relied heavily on all that was given to them by family and friends. Often, they were given others cast-off clothing and being the creative person she was, my mother didn't make us wear the ill-fitting clothes as they were, she created them into new fashionable dresses, skirts, pants and coats that we loved to wear. That's where the name "Jenny's Daughter's Seams" comes from. I'm following in my mother's footsteps and taking old paper products and creating something new and beautiful from them. I'm Jenny's daughter!
