After 20 wonderful years, the time has come to say our final goodbye to Riches Antiques & Memories.
There are so many people I want to thank. I couldn’t have made it through these last few months without the kindness, friendship, and helping hands of some very special people. ❤️
❤️ To all our wonderful customers — Thank you for your friendship, loyalty, and support over the years. A huge thank-you to those who came forward after the auction and purchased some of the treasures that remained. Your kindness meant so much.
❤️ To Jordon and Jenna Locke, their family, and the entire P&D Auctions crew — Thank you for all the hard work and effort you put into our closing auction.
❤️ To T’s Twisted Burgers — Thank you for the amazing food and for being part of our final weekend.
❤️ To the Red Cross Creative Group — Thank you for the coffee, the helping hands, and your continued friendship and support.
❤️ To Larry, Max, and Ted Linklater — You were like angels coming to our rescue. You were there every day of that last week, helping us clean up and tackle what seemed like an impossible job. We will never forget your kindness.
❤️ To Susan Wiebe — You have been by my side every single day for the last two months, doing everything and anything that needed to be done. I don’t know what I would have done without you.
❤️ To Larry Wiebe, Laurie Evans, Pat Alward, and Helen Mourre — Thank you for your hard work, your willingness to lend a hand, and for being there when we needed you.
❤️ To my brother Greg — Thank you for being my brother, for always being there when I needed you, and for your love and support. It has meant more than you know.
❤️ To Mark and Pat — Two wonderful people who became such a special part of our weekends at Riches. We always looked forward to seeing you come through the door, ready to work your magic and make the shop look beautiful. Your hard work, dedication, and friendship meant so much to us. We loved having you as part of the Riches family.
❤️ To my family — Carley, Brodie, Dorsey, and Noel — Thank you for the countless hours you spent at the shop, looking after everything that needed to be done. I know how much of your own time you gave up to help me.
❤️ And especially to Noel — Thank you for always being there for me and for getting me through these last few months. I couldn’t have done it without you.
Twenty years of memories, friendships, laughter, and treasures. Riches was never just an antique shop to me. It was a place where strangers became friends and where so many wonderful memories were made.
Although our doors are now closed, the memories and friendships will stay with me forever.
Thank you, everyone, for being part of this journey.
