The Old Attic Vintage Vinyl We consign (and buy) vintage vinyl records. Most of our records are originaIs or early re-issues. Some which have left all of Victoria wanting!

.... and with the goldmine of vinyl that is coming in, we appreciate that doing it right is important. We research important records through Discogs, Musicstack, Popsike, Collector's Frenzy, Ebay sold listings and

Goldmine 9th edition. We have a collector in once a week with such vast knowledge, you wouldn't even believe it and between the two of us, we have every musical genre covered. The Old Attic is the Saanich Peninsula's largest "vintage ~ retro ~ modern ~ antique" furniture & home decor store. We receive in a large amount of downsizings and along with all the furniture & collectables, our customers also have some other hidden treasures stashed in the attic.... namely collections of original or very early releases of sought after & collectable vinyl records. The Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, Thelonious Monk, Soundgarden, Miles Davis, Les Paul, Dave Brubeck quartet among many others. We are constantly working hard to fine tune this area for all our customers that love to collect and listen to vinyl. We always appreciate good & constructive feedback from collectors & audiophiles and would love to hear what you think on how we can make things even better. A Follow up to our Retirement announcement: JULY & AUGUST

People have been asking if we are now closed.
NO, we will be open until the end of August.

JULY:
In the month of July all consignment items will be going back to the consigners. However, anything still on the floor is still for sale.
So I would suggest that if you had your eye on something you may want to come in and pick it up as you will not see it once it is gone.

This goes for the Vinyl records as well. We are in the process of collecting them up and sending back but at this time we still have so many to sort through so they are still for sale.

Some consignment items may be on sale and some items may be on a BLOW OUT SALE. They will be marked as we go along.

AUGUST:
In the month of August we will be selling off all of our display units and items. So if you know of anyone who needs display cabinets etc make sure they come around.
You can actually come in now and let us know if you are interested in something you can pay for it now and pick it up in August when we are finished with them.

CHRISTMAS in August:
I have been merchandising for the past 40 years.
Christmas has been a bit of a soft spot for me.
I have a very extensive Christmas Display Collection which I will be selling off in the month of Aug. as well.
So if you know of anyone who loves Christmas as much as I do, have them stop in to check it out.
I will post pictures of everything once we have it set up.

I will be posting pictures of other items as well that will be for sale so stay tuned.

In August we know things will go fast, as we are pricing everything to sell quickly.

Happy 10th Anniversary & Happy Retirement

As of April 1, 2021 it was our 10th year Anniversary here at The Old Attic.
Over the years we have met so many amazing people who have not only become part of The Old Attic family but have become our close friends.

We have been invited into many homes to help people who were downsizing or having the difficult task of dealing with an estate. We have always appreciated those of you who have trusted us with all your treasures.

So it is with heavy hearts that we are announcing our retirement.
Our building has sold and we felt that this would be the right time to make the decision to move on to new adventures.

We would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us through out these past 10 years. Going to the shop everyday was not work. It was something we enjoyed which became our passion.

We are going to miss the old building and our neighbors and being part of such a great community.

All boxes are taped up and you just have to take your chances on what is inside.
