Some designs begin with a sketch. This one began with a child's imagination. ❄️💙

As we celebrate 20 years of Concept, I've been reflecting on the projects that have meant the most to me. This collaboration with the Art Gallery of St. Albert and the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation will always be one of them.

Children at the Stollery were invited to create artwork inspired by snowflakes. From their beautiful drawings, I designed four jewelry concepts, and one was chosen to become a one-of-a-kind diamond necklace.

The original drawing featured touches of blue, so I honoured that vision with brilliant blue and white diamonds, creating a piece that stayed true to the child's imagination while bringing it to life in fine jewelry.

The finished necklace was donated as the live auction piece for the Stollery Snowflake Gala, with all proceeds supporting the incredible work of the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation.

Years later, this necklace still reminds me that jewelry can be so much more than something beautiful. It can tell a story, celebrate creativity, bring people together, and make a lasting difference.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Concept over the past 20 years and allowed me to be part of stories like this. They are the reason I love what I do. ❤️
