It's Pride Month, and every year we're reminded that some people still debate whether certain humans deserve respect, safety, and a place to belong.

At Myrtle, that's never felt like much of a debate.

We don't spend a lot of time talking about tolerance or acceptance because those words suggest there's a decision to be made. As far as we're concerned, there isn't.

We believe people belong because they're people.

If you've got a body, we can dress it. If you've got pronouns, we'll use them. If you've got a partner, bring them - the bigger the hype crew, the better. If you've got a story, we want the tea. If you've got a a need for a great outfit, we got you. Clothes have no gender. Wear whatever you want.

For us, Pride Month isn't about making a statement. It's about celebrating the simple idea that everyone deserves to move through the world without harassment, judgment, or having to prove they're worthy of respect.

Come as you are. Come however you come through the door.

We'll be glad to see you - and we have caffeine.
