I have been sewing for as long as I can remember, creating little projects as a child to sewing quilts, handbags and clothing as I got older. There is something about finding a fantastic piece of fabric and making it into something unique that you can call your own. I believe children learn so quickly at a young age and learning new skills is important for brain growth and self esteem. Group sewin

g classes teach such things as hand eye coordination, math, social skills & creativity. Being able to show their friends and family what they created is such a self esteem booster. I have been an in home daycare provider for many years (recently just became licensed with the government of Saskatchewan) and enjoy teaching children of all ages. I also have a current clear Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector and current CPR-B & First Aid. Teaching sewing to me is so rewarding, passing on the torch to the new generation.
