This has been a wild, busy year, but I’m lucky to have gone through it with a lot of great people by my side. I have a lot to be thankful for.

✨Change is in the air. ✨Some of you may have already noticed that today I changed my name and logo from Knits For Days to Kimberly Lane Designs. I’ve been thinking about making a change to the name for a long time, and feel that now is the perfect time for it.

As much as I loved the Knits For Days name, I felt it was time to branch out beyond just knitting. I love to also design patterns and just recently started to learn and enjoy embroidery. I also have a million other crafts that I would love to try sometime down the road. I feel this name opens that up a bit more.

I still post mainly to my Instagram account, and will be there as well. I look forward to this next chapter, and I hope you all join me for the journey! 💕

I am truly garbage when it comes to posting on this page instead of my Instagram. Oh well. Summer has officially begun, and if you’ll need me I’ll be in this little sunroom on nice days working on stuff that will probably take me until next year to finish. (And when it’s hot you’ll find me inside the house with all the blinds shut, huddling near the fans and praying the A/C keeps up) What are your summer plans?

When you’re a kid, the toys you want to play with the most are the ones that are sitting under the tree for the better part of December. I figured I would try the same logic with my works in progress. Maybe if they are under the tree for me for a bit, I’ll want desperately to play with them, and maybe I’ll actually complete a WIP for myself this year?! 🎄🎁🧶 The tree is coming down in a couple of days, I had to try it while I still have the chance. 😂

Hey all, it’s been awhile, but I’m still here!! It’s hard to believe, but 2020 is slowly coming to an end, and we are about 2 months away from Christmas!!

With that in mind, I have some knitted items that are ready to purchase, but I have also decided to open up some space to make some smaller custom items if anyone is interested. Hats, mittens, and headbands are the items I’d be able to make as these are all smaller projects, and I can work on them in between the several other much larger projects I already have on the go. I have time for 4, possibly 6 of these smaller projects before Christmas, depending on the item, and where the item is going. I will ship anywhere in Canada (but fair warning that you will be paying for shipping on top of the price of the item) and I can hand deliver to anyone in Regina and Moose Jaw.

Happy Holidays everyone!! A big thanks to everyone who supported me this year! I hope you and yours all have a safe and happy holiday season.
