TL:DR taking time off
A Happy New Year to each and everyone of you. May we all see a bright and beautiful future as we move into 2024.
I want to thank everyone in Sault Ste. Marie, ON area, a couple from the far north of Ontario, and some from the USA as far away as California, Texas, and Florida, for their trust in me over the last 10 years. I have absolutely loved being your fairy godmother, helping to make wedding days as beautiful as you’ve dreamed - not forgetting everyone else who has trusted me with their special sewing projects, big and small. You have all been significant, and I hold special memories from all of our interactions.
Unfortunately, my hands have taken a beating, keeping up with the demand. The only way I can expect them to heal, is to stop sewing for a time, and have come to the difficult conclusion that I need to take a hiatus.
To anyone who has already contacted me to do their sewing this year - I will still be working with you as promised. If you are currently waiting for me to finish something you have brought to me, I’m working through all the orders – albeit, at a slower pace than usual.
I won't be taking in anything new until at least October, possibly later. I will keep you updated.
