It's Tuesday.

Nobody asked for Tuesday.

It's not exciting enough to be Friday.
Not dramatic enough to be Monday.

It's just... there.

Like a mandatory meeting that could have been an email.

But here we are.

Coffee in hand.
Responsibilities waiting.
A whole list of things we don't wanna do.

And somehow they'll still get done.

Because that's what people do.

We grumble.
We sigh.
We complain.

Then we get moving anyway.

🚨 FROM THE VAULT 🚨

Most people don't remember this...

But in the summer and fall of 1996, something strange happened.

For a brief moment in time, every magazine rack in North America seemed to be carrying the same publication:

IDW Magazine.

Nobody knows who funded it.

Nobody knows how they convinced half of Hollywood to participate.

But somehow there they were.

Salma Hayek.

Keanu Reeves.

Pamela Anderson.

Wesley Snipes.

Neve Campbell.

Kurt Russell.

Nicolas Cage.

All wearing the same shirt.

All saying variations of:

"I don't wanna."

The magazines appeared everywhere.

Record stores.

Convenience stores.

Mall bookstores.

Gas stations.

Even waiting rooms.

Issue after issue featured celebrities looking mildly annoyed, emotionally exhausted, and suspiciously comfortable in IDW Apparel.

The headlines made even less sense.

"SOME DAYS I DON'T WANNA."

"GET IT. WEAR IT. MEAN IT."

"I DON'T WANNA. BUT I WILL."

And the now legendary Nicolas Cage cover story:

"AND SOME DAYS...
I WANNA EVEN LESS."

By 1997 the magazines vanished as mysteriously as they appeared.

No publisher.

No records.

No explanation.

Just a generation left wondering:

"Did that actually happen?"

Well...

After nearly 30 years, the lost issues have finally resurfaced.

And honestly?

They're even more ridiculous than we remembered.

Some people think "I Don't Wanna" means giving up.

It doesn't.

It means being honest.

Nobody wants every responsibility.
Nobody wants every Monday.
Nobody wants every bill, chore, meeting, workout, or obligation.

But we do them anyway.

That's the point.

IDW isn't about refusing to participate.

It's about acknowledging the feeling that every person has before they suck it up and get moving.

Everybody thinks it.

Well... it's Monday again.

Against all odds, the weekend has ended.

We checked. Twice.

Nobody was happy about it.

The alarm went off. The coffee got poured. The responsibilities were waiting exactly where we left them.

And yet...

Here we are.

That's the thing about life ain't it?

It's not that we always want to do the thing.

It's that we do it anyway.

We drag ourselves out of bed. We show up. We put in the work. We grumble professionally. And somehow the job gets done.

So if you're staring down another Monday with all the enthusiasm of a sloth in a hammock...

Welcome to the club.
