A princess is a girl graduating from Pontiac High School, Dr. Wilbert Keon School, Sieur de Colounge, Pontiac Continuing Education, or Centre Pontiac who may not attend her prom because her family cannot afford her attire. we'll work to coordinate a time that is convenient for the princess. Each princess will meet one-on-one with a Fairy Godmother Shoppe volunteer, where she will get to choose a p

rom dress and any other accessories that may be available. Participation in the program is anonymous. Discretion is our utmost priority. The fee for a prom dress and accessories is $30. The money received from the sale of prom dresses will be put back into the program to purchase additional dresses and accessories.

Q: Where are you located?
A: Our shoppe is located at the Shawville United Church , on Main Street.

Q: Do you accept donations?
A: We are always accepting donations of gently used formal wear, jewelry, shoes and purses, in good, clean condition. Contact the shoppe today to coordinate a pick up. Dresses can also be left at Accountability, located beside The Royal Bank. We now carry a complete line of ladies formal wear for all occasions. At this time, we are not accepting donations of wedding dresses- but stay tuned!

Q: What are the shoppe hours?
A: Our shoppe is run by a small, fabulous group of volunteers. Because of this, we open by appointment only. To set up a time to visit the shoppe, send us a PM.

Q: Is the dress mine to keep?
A: Yes! The dress is all yours. We do charge a small fee of 30$ , which includes shoes, jewelry and a bag. The fee goes into shoppe upkeep but also towards a bursary we give each year to Pontiac High School graduates, as well as little projects within our community.

Q: What sizes do you carry?
A: We carry an array of sizes from junior to plus size. If you are looking for something specific, send us a message and we are happy to see if we have something to suit your needs.
