Meet the Makers - ArtFest September 19-20

K Art by JuJu

Eunju Park transforms Hanji, traditional Korean paper that can last over 1,000 years, into contemporary artworks. By tearing and reconstructing Hanji into Hangul, the Korean alphabet, she creates pieces that celebrate Korean culture while sharing positive affirmations such as “You Matter 소중한 너” and “Radical Acceptance 받아들임.” Her work combines tradition, language, and messages of hope and self-love.

Shy Shaerie Art

Sheri Cass is the Edmonton based artist behind Shy Shaerie Art. She creates whimsical acrylic and mixed media artwork inspired by folklore, fairytales, witchcraft, and surreal storytelling. Through symbolic imagery and richly layered details, her work explores transformation, intuition, and the magic hidden in everyday life. Alongside her paintings, she creates handcrafted pocket altars and magical keepsakes that invite others to embrace curiosity, imagination, and wonder.
