I'm very grateful to PsyPost for covering the most recent publication from the Global Psychedelic Survey (GPS), which is focused on changes in other substance use following psychedelic initiation. Kudos to my co-authors Nicolas G. Glynos, Jacob S. Aday, Daniel Kruger, Kevin F. Boehnke and Stephanie Lake for filling gaps of knowledge re. real-world psychedelic use, and our appreciation to all the psychedelic consumers that responded to the survey!

A global survey found that 70.9% of participants reported reducing or ceasing their use of non-psychedelic substances like alcohol and to***co after using psychedelics, with psilocybin being the most influential.

While my focus has definitely been psychedelics over the past few years, my roots run deep with cannabis and associated research, so I'm happy to share the latest publication from the Canadian Cannabis Patient Survey I ran for Tilray while VP, Global Patient Research and Access. Kudos to co-authors José Tempero, Kaye Ong, Stephanie Lake and especially my former colleague Mariah Walker that unfortunately didn't live to see this data on the benefit of medical cannabis in older patients published.
