Well it’s been almost a year since I’ve done anything new and exciting on here... And that’s because I’ve gone in a new direction. I’ve taken this business and transitioned it into home decorating rather than product creation. If you’re still interested in following along on my journey, head over to and you can see what I’ve been up to. I don’t know yet if I’ll continue with making goods to sell. Maybe. But I know I won’t be doing custom orders anymore. If you’re interested in having a room redecorated, head over to and send me a message! I’d love to chat and see if I can help you out!! Goodbye for now from Woodway Workings!

If you love shopping small head over to and give them a follow! My husband started his own business and we would love your support!

A little corner of my baby girl’s bedroom! I wanted book ledges and liked the ones from ikea but they were too long for the space (and the spice rack hack was too short) so I made my own :)

I may not have any real pumpkins yet but I sure am happy it’s fall!!

Had a bit of fun this weekend 😂. I tore up the baseboards, cut up a lot of mdf and pine and installed board and batten in our master bedroom. Today I caulked a little over half (regular jobs take up so much diy time 😂). My goal is to have the room painted by the weekend. Wish me luck! 🔨🤰🏻

A first peak at my new autumn launch (and my growing bump) coming out later today. I call this pattern “Auntie Em.” ☺️

Don’t hate me for saying this but FALL IS COMING!! I’m mostly excited because this means my baby girl will soon be here! 😍 but in the mean time, it’s going to get cooler and we all need a place to store our favourite blankets. Send me a message if you’d like a blanket ladder to display yours!

Did a little Reno/updating this weekend! Swipe for the progress photos (a photo) and a before photo. I am so much happier now with the closet! Clean, organized and completed for just $14!! I used wood I had and ripped it to the sizing I needed. What did you get up to this weekend?

Last summer I teased a project we were working on with barn beams. Well here it is! (Due to delays with our contracts for the deck and concrete it had to wait until this summer). I’m obsessed with it. It’s the dreamiest place to spend an evening!! I made the benches so that we could really maximize seating. What do you think??
