Hello long time no post!
I’m currently on Maternity Leave and enjoying it but with my free time I’ve gotten back into creating, I asked my nisimis Mojo for inspiration and she gave me the idea to do something with fall/hunting.
So I sat and thought about all the hunters going out getting animals to feed their families and to stock their freezers also the story of how the moose carries pêpîsisak in its antlers had a big part in creating this piece. I wanted to add florals as a way to represent the life being given by the môswa by it giving its life for us.

But I wanted to share as I feel very grateful for the season as it’s my favourite also wanted encourage our people to get out there on the land and learn (myself included).

So with that I posted my first listing! Items are available for purchase! Thank you for your support!

I’m super proud of this piece and starting my journey back into my own business, I will also be rebranding my business to reflect more of who I am today! more to come..
Maybe a market or earring drop is in the future but for now I wanted to begin with this.

Something different 🤍🫶🏽🌿

Spent all of last evening sewing and making ribbon skirts for my sale on Saturday at the Water is Life Legal Summit Round Dance on Friday.
These are very special to me. My favourite colours and the way that the ribbon is sewed is the same way my chapan Mary sewed her ribbons, only the tops. nohkom Alma showed me a skirt that my chapan Mary made many years ago especially before bright colours and stacked ribbon skirts were really mainstream. Trying to show more of my creativity and making things how and when I want is such a beautiful gift. I’m excited hopefully I get two more done before I start heading while also preparing for my final exams and enjoying the last of my classes for the semester. 🤍🫶🏽🌿

Hello Friends and Family, I created a Calendar in Cree for December 2022-2023. Click the link below to purchase a digital download copy in PDF, PNG, & JPG files.
It has nêhiyawêwin, syllabics, english translations, and visual aids for each month including holidays.

Following my goals, aspirations, and reasons for working towards my Bachelor of Arts in nêhiyawêwin at UnBQ I've been dreaming of creating new resources and sharing new methods of learning and teaching. This Calendar is only the beginning of my plans and I'd like to share it with you all, I'm passionate about digital work and always wanting to indigenize anything and everything I can. (Cree Kitchen Labels, Cree signs & Clothing)

This is the MAIN reason why I started The CREEative Co. I didn't only wanna make home decor, apparel, and beadwork. My dream is to help families and others have easier access to fun methods of learning and embracing our beautiful language. I got tired of wishing of wanting aesthetically pleasing resources and have been working on learning my language everyday that my creative side is being used for this as an outlet and I think you'd like it as well. I plan on sharing more resources as I continue my language journey and the cost of the items is to help support me on my journey as a Full-time University Student . I appreciate all and any support.
