CORDUROY DROP ROUND TWO!
Did you know? 🤔
👉🏻 Corduroy has working-class roots. The modern version we know now was birthed in 18th century England as clothing for labourers and outdoor workers.
👉🏻 Corduroy and velvet are both pile fabrics, with the difference being that corduroy has ridges called wales
👉🏻 Corduroy went from workwear to becoming a counterculture fashion icon in the 1970s.
👉🏻 It’s a practical layer for autumn in the Kootenays given its durability, softness, breathability and warmth.
We just dropped more than 30 corduroy shirts at Rambling Rose, and made a whole dedicated rack about it.
They range in size from ‘men’s’ S - XXL
Prices are anywhere from $5 to $35.
No joke.
If they have damage that needs repair to wear it, they go in the $5 bin.
Minor but wearable damage, like a tiny bleach mark or a tiny hole are $12-24.
The majority are in perfect condition and vintage. They are between $28-$35
