It’s been so long (yes 7 months) so we’re re-launching my bathroom renovation series! First let me bring you back up to speed:

✔️demo done and hauled away thanks to LINDCO Contracting
✔️New tub / shower install thanks to Aqua North Plumbing - they saved me a few times with this project
✔️ Drywall around the tub thanks to Jeremy Cole
✔️ Flooring thanks to yours truly, purchased locally from Total Floors . It’s glue down with grout strips (all vinyl tile), so there’s no scrubbing grout but you still get the tile look ✌️

Follow for part 2 - a fun feature behind the toilet 😀

And your friendly reminder - even though you can DIY, sometimes it just makes sense to get the experts in!

I didn’t think of this until a friend mentioned it - use an electric kettle to boil water vs using propane in your RV!

And yes, I’m aware it only works when you’ve already paid for a campsite with electricity, but still, it makes so much more sense!

Just your friendly reminder that I’m a hot mess too, don’t have a clue what I’m doing half the time, still throwing spaghetti on the wall to see what sticks and never really know what box it fit in.

And just like that we have a 6 year old in our house! After visiting Disneyland he asked for a StarWars themed party so my daughter and I painted this birthday banner (our cheater method is in our last video) and make a baby Yoda cake. The table decorations are from Party Expert 🎉. His Star Wars shorts are handmade by mom🖤

We had friends over for lunch before the party and had a different table setting - the last photo.

So thankful for our sweet boy and all the laughter, creativity and joy he brings to our family 💛

This week I had the sweetest time teaching embroidery at EdGE Learning Centre Handiworks Lab, kids camp 🧵✨

Watching these kids learn something new, experiment with stitches, choose their colours and then proudly show off what they created was the BEST.

There’s something so special about giving kids the chance to slow down, make something with their hands, and realize, “Hey, I made this!” ❤️

I’m so proud of every single one of them and their beautiful creations. What a talented group! 🪡💕
