BVD Hospital Auxiliary/New to You Store Our members meet once/month (except in summer). Our main fundraiser is the New to You Thrift Store & our hospital Gift Shop.

Donations may be dropped off between 8:30 am - 2:30 pm monday to saturday back alley enterance We own our thrift store, and are completely run by volunteers. If individuals wish to volunteer, it's because they have some extra time to give and want to give back to our wonderful comm

unity, It's also a good place to connect with others if you're new to the community. We also coordinate with the hospital & Bulkley Lodge, offering a Junior Volunteer program, giving opportunities for high school students to volunteer and earn volunteer hours for school. Call Winnete at 250-847-2049 for more info. The BVDH Auxiliary became a registered society on October 6, 1994. We work under the umbrella of our provincial organization, the British Columbia Association of Health-Care Auxiliaries (www.bcaux.ca). They provide us with support and education. We are pleased to have 60 + volunteers working in our organization.

PLEASE...
Do not drop donations after hours It takes much of our volunteers time to clean up the bags and boxes that have been strewn around our parking lot at night.
The donations are often left in an unsellable state leading to the thrift store also paying for the disposal of the items.
Drop off between 8:30 - 2:30. Monday to Saturday back door. Thank you
