Donations may be dropped off between 8:30 am - 2:30 pm monday to saturday back alley enterance We own our thrift store, and are completely run by volunteers. If individuals wish to volunteer, it's because they have some extra time to give and want to give back to our wonderful community, It's also a good place to connect with others if you're new to the community. We also coordinate with the hospital & Bulkley Lodge, offering a Junior Volunteer program, giving opportunities for high school students to volunteer and earn volunteer hours for school. Call Winnete at 250-847-2049 for more info. The BVDH Auxiliary became a registered society on October 6, 1994. We work under the umbrella of our provincial organization, the British Columbia Association of Health-Care Auxiliaries (www.bcaux.ca). They provide us with support and education. We are incredibly proud to recognize the BVD Hospital Auxiliary/New to You Store volunteers for their extraordinary $160,000 contribution to our “A Million Reasons to Make a Difference” Mammography Campaign.

For generations, the Hospital Auxiliary has been an important part of healthcare in our community. Through countless volunteer hours, dedication, and generosity, these remarkable volunteers continue to make an impact that reaches far beyond the walls of our hospital.

To every BVD Hospital Auxiliary volunteer — thank you. Your commitment to our hospital, our patients, and our community is truly making a difference.
