This trip changes my life every single year.
It is hard to fully express the gratitude I feel for the help, love, and support my friends gave me over those five days.
A trip like this takes months and months of planning. Weeks of organizing, preparing, creating, packing, and making sure every tiny detail is handled. It is a trip for my soul, but it is also a trip for my business, and watching both of those parts of my life grow together truly warms my heart.
The Wild Roses Festival allows me to connect with the exact kind of women I create for. Women who understand the heart behind Brooklyn Jade Collective. Women who wear my designs, believe in the message, and bring the clothing to life in a way I could never fully explain.
As the weekend goes on, I start seeing more and more of my shirts and designs walking around the festival. Women come up to me wearing pieces they bought years ago. They tell me stories, give me hugs, and remind me why I started doing this in the first place.
At this point, it honestly feels like a giant family reunion.
I love working this festival so much, but this year I also made the choice to experience more of it. I attended workshops, slowed down when I needed to, and allowed myself to take care of me too. That was something I really needed, and it made the weekend feel even more beautiful.
I am so deeply grateful for my friends who showed up for me in every possible way. For bringing me food and water. For answering my phone calls. For checking on me. For stepping in wherever I needed help and making sure I was never doing it alone.
This experience would not be what it is without them.
My heart is so full. I am grateful for the growth, the connection, the women, the stories, the hugs, and every single person who continues to support this dream.
Until next year, Wild Roses. 🤍
