My wonderful mother-in-law, Dianne Deagle, stopped by for a visit today looking absolutely fabulous in the crocheted vest she purchased at The Cool Cat! Here she is (on the right)with Betty (on the left), one of my wonderful customers!

One of the best parts of this job is seeing a customer’s face light up when they find that perfect outfit—the one that makes them feel confident, comfortable, and truly shine. We are so fortunate to have so many wonderful people living in our community, and getting to see familiar faces and meet new ones every day is one of the things I love most about running the shop.

Olivia has just put out a fresh selection of XS and Small athletic/workout wear on the table, and on our mannequin today is a beautiful Lilly Pulitzer dress that’s ready for summer!

There’s something so fresh, crisp, and timeless about it. It always reminds me of seaside holidays and sunny days by the water. Whether it’s a classic striped top, a breezy dress, or a beautiful floral print, blue and white never seems to go out of style.

I’m busy steaming and pricing some fresh summer arrivals, and there will be lots of lovely pieces making their way onto the racks in the next couple of days.☀️

This morning, it felt so good to simply throw on a summer dress and a pair of sneakers—easy, comfortable, and ready for the day. That’s one of my favourite things about summer fashion!

Lots of pretty dresses arrive weekly, along with beautiful linen shirts and pants — perfect for this unpredictable Island weather.

Yes, it’s rainy and nasty out there… but I read a quote I try to follow:
“You can get wet and be miserable, or you can feel the rain and feel alive.”

So why not embrace the day and stop in for a little shopping adventure? ☔✨

Je serai au Cool Cat jusqu’à 15 h aujourd’hui, et Olivia sera là jusqu’à 18 h pour vous aider à trouver quelque chose de magnifique! 💛

De jolies robes arrivent chaque semaine, ainsi que de belles chemises et pantalons en lin — parfaits pour notre météo imprévisible de l’Île.

Oui, il pleut et le temps est un peu gross mais j’ai lu une citation que j’essaie de suivre :
« On peut être mouillé et malheureux, ou sentir la pluie et se sentir vivant. »

Alors, pourquoi ne pas profiter de la journée et venir faire un petit tour au magasin? ☔✨
