Newborns use 12-16 diapers a day – 3 months old through to 1 year old use between 8 and 12. One years old through to 3 years old use between 6-8 until potty trained. So, for about 32 months, an entire cloth diapering system will cost approximately $1500 for your first child, and just the cost of laundering for each child afterwards. This is almost 50% the cost of disposable diapers for your first child, and approximately 87% for each subsequent child!

4) The outer layer of each diaper is waterproof, so it provides maximum piddle protection! This material is called polyurethane laminated fabric (PUL). It’s finally time! The last two months have been chaos as we’ve tackled a list a mile long in preparation for our upcoming move to our new house in Spencerville. It’s time to pack up Piddly Winx and close down our shipping until after Thanksgiving weekend. We will be having a sale after we unpack everything at the new place though, so stay tuned for details on that.

Any orders received between now and Oct 9 will be shipped out the week of Oct 10. Please forgive me if it takes a few extra days to find everything again 🙂

Inventory on the website will be updated by middle of November to reflect our up to date stocks, as well as (finally) include our new charcoal bamboo prints and bibs/mama cloth/other new products to share with you!

After being back in Ottawa for almost a year, and with the chaos of Covid, and moving, school shut downs and homeschooling, constant quarantines and life basically being... well, you all know...

We are finally going to be getting everything rolling again smoothly. Shipping is starting to return to normal with more weekly pickups, my supply chain is normalizing, and life is finally starting to return to a little bit of normalcy.

So, that all being said... I have some new prints I will be posting over the next week - some new charcoal bamboo diapers, and some new Mama Cloth prints and solid colours.

I will also be liquidating some of our used/older stock from rental kits. Please stay tuned as I post them live on the website, as they will be sold as individuals, and stock is incredibly limited. I will post an update on here as they go live.

I hope everyone is getting ready for the holidays as best they can with these new protocols coming into place. This will definitely be a new kind of "Christmas" for everyone, and we wish you the best from our house to yours...

On the topic of houses...we are moving! So, to prepare for that, we will be processing all orders received up to December 26th, 2020 and they will be sent by December 28th, 2020. Any orders received after that will not be processed OR shipped until mid-January at the very earliest.

In addition, we are offering a 10% off discount code for all orders received from now to the December 26th to help move inventory that we would otherwise need to ship to Ontario.

Our lives have changed so much over the last two months inside the home and outside - I hope everyone else is taking advantage of the changes and giving their little ones some extra snuggles. I didn't realize how much I really do appreciate those little hands around my waist, and I have had SO many snuggles lately.

Today is an inventory day, so we will be in and out as we update the website numbers and do a physical count. I love inventory days, because that means a restock day is in our near future... which means new prints!
