In addition to our anniversary sale this past weekend we received our delivery of Liberty of London Emily Belle! Some fabrics are even better in person and this 10 colourway collection is one of them!
Emily Belle is a celebration of botanicals including daisies, marguerites, peonies, and cornflowers. Drawn in an outline and arranged over a plain coloured ground, the soft, fine lines and delicate tonal qualities are designed to coordinate smoothly with a wide variety of Liberty prints from their vast archive

Thank you to everyone who flooded our online shop during our Anniversary Sale over the weekend. So many of you took advantage of the discount on virtual workshops - we can't wait to sew with you. Looks like many of you were also stocking up for your holiday making projects.

Happy 19 Year Anniversary to us! 🎉🎉🎉 This past Tuesday October 13th was the official date and we are so grateful for another year with this amazing community. The Parkdale Pick Up Point may be closed tomorrow (Saturday October 17) but there is lots going on virtually! There is still time to join Karyn over Zoom for the Audrey Hood starting at 9am. The Audrey is a simple, cozy hooded scarf, made with a contrast or self lining. Make it in midweight wool, double gauze, light to midweight corduroy or perfect for Jacquard remnants. Line it with cotton voile, lightweight linen, cotton poplin, lightweight wool, or a soft brushed cotton. It's officially Fall and this single session class will have you cosy in no time!
Workshops now include the option to register and purchase the PDF pattern & printing all at the same time so it is even easier to join us for a class.

We're chipping away at making our little and big workroom dreams come true this month and sharing the list with you on Instagram. the workroom 'merch' has been on Karyn's list for ages. We've had the artwork ready for awhile and finally sat down and applied the graphics to a couple of baseball caps and a sweatshirt to start. Some samples were ordered to check for quality and magic! We're so happy with the embroidery on these first samples for the 'make something' cap. Did you see the unboxing video from last week?
We're using a print on demand service, which means each item is made to order at a local facility and shipped directly to you. This means we can offer a range of colours and sizes for each item and can easily expand the collection into more items. Do you need a workroom water bottle, t-shirt or sweatshirt? We are working on adding more designs and options but this feels like a great start. It's extra cool to hold something in your hand that you dreamed up and didn't sew yourself!
Since these items are being made by an on demand service we strongly recommend placing orders for the workroom merch items separately from items we have in the shop in Sprucedale. This ensures no shipping delays for either order 🧢 😉
