This weekend for Labour Day we have 1 group run, happening Saturday led by Katie.

Meet at the end of Tantalus Road for 8am, and Katie will take the group on a Wonderland/North Ridge Debecks loop at a Social pace. Expect about 2 hours.

We’re open regular 10am - 6pm on Labour Day Monday if you’re traveling through and want to pop in!

🐐 NAME THAT GOAT! 🐐

For those not in the know, Capra is the Latin genus of mountain goat — and we’ve always had a soft spot for these sure-footed, cliff-climbing, alpine chilling, headbutting legends.

Recently, we welcomed a new four-legged friend into the Capra family.

What started as a real-life photo taken on an adventure by Arletta has since become temporary tattoos, stickers, and he’s been an immediate fan favourite. Safe to say, this guy is here to stay.

We’ve been lovingly calling him “Headbutt Goat”, but let’s be honest… we can do better. It’s time to get our horns out of the clouds and give this guy a proper name.

And who better to name him than the Capra herd?

So, we’re putting it to a vote: what should we call our newest goat?

Think mountain puns. Trail references. Questionable goat humour. Anything that would make a billy goat proud.

Happy Birthday to our very own Tiff-asaurarus Rex!

Tiff is the absolute best when it comes to all things shoes, running, and helping people find the best gear to get them out the door and into the mountains.

But, what makes her truly special is the way she shows up for our community—always welcoming, encouraging, knowledgeable and ready to help.

Today we raise a fin to Tiffany Gibson! May your day be dino-mite, your snacks unlimited, and all your adventures free of velociraptors!

This week’s run club plans:

8am from the shop, 2 groups; Social & Speedy Social

Solana & Simon are leading this week with both groups heading out Coho, Covenant, Jacks, 50 Shades, so it’s a great time if you want to test the Speedy Social & have the opportunity to drop back with the Social if desired.

Both groups will be out for approx 2 hours

Let’s try this again! This Wednesday we’re doing a 3-2-1 sunset mission.

Meet at the main Chief parking lot at 545pm to carpool/cardrop or at the Slhanay parking are for a 6pm start.

Expect some ladders, chains, via feratta style moves, and some exposure.

Don’t forget to bring a warm layer and a headlamp for the way down!

We’re still feeling all the feels from an epic weekend. 🥰

Tomorrow night, we’re doing an annual recovery run & post race potluck at Solana’s.

We’ll do a 45ish minute loop for those feeling up to a run & then a catch up sesh with food and drinks.

Meet at the corner of Condor & Bluebird at 615pm for the run, or 7ish for potluck.

Bring a change of clothes, plate, cutlery, & a small dish to share.

Here’s the schedule for tomorrow:

⏰ 6 AM — Aid Station 1
🛍️ 8 AM–6 PM — Shop is open
💪 12 PM onward — Find us at the finish line with tattoos + recovery legs

We kicked off Squamish 50 weekend with our friends from Salomon! 🏔️ 👟 ✨

We cruised the trails with runners from as far as NYC, Toronto, London, and everywhere in between. What a treat to share our favourite backyard loop with so many incredible people!

Next up:
Our Runners Expo: Friday 2pm–7pm, outside in our parking area

Come hang out with us for free food, nutrition samples, tons of games, prizes, temporary tattoos, shoe charms, sign making & more!

The shop is open 10am - 8pm for all your last minute purchases or Squamish souvenirs!
