Halifax area folks: head on down to Durty Nelly’s today. It’s Celtic music day and Veronica’s pop-up market there from 4-6pm. If anyone that can’t make it, wants to buy some gifts for Christmas, we are going next weekend and can deliver to you at a pre-designated spot on our way home on Monday, the 23rd. We could stop in Truro, New Glasgow, Antigonish and Port Hawkesbury. Anyone farther east than that , perhaps you could come to St. Peter’s to pick up.

Such strength!

I had many leap photos to choose from, but this remains one of my favourites. The OG, from our very first shoot together 15 years ago - this marked the beginning of my journey with Brent McCombs into highland dance photography. Featuring then-Nova Scotia champion Sarah McKenna, I was blown away by the power and strength this one split second captured. (I was going to post this yesterday for “Leap Year” content, but I decided to wait until today, as it’s Brent ‘s birthday! Happy Birthday, my dear friend)

Don’t ever throw an old kilt out!😉

This was a heavyweight kilt a customer brought in after her husband passed away. She wanted it made into something she could wear, since he loved his kilt so much. A touching and emotional project. Modern Hunting MacIntosh tartan.
