I am truly a collector of all things crafting.

I’ve been working on this crocheted sweater for my man, my man 🥰

It’s a self-drafted pattern that I’m making up as I go.

By day I am a project manager delivering capital projects.

They range from bridge construction, pool repairs, new building designs to waste water treatment plant repairs.

That means I’m always challenged to read and understand new material.

Sewing has been a gateway to unlocking my mind to not being afraid of new concepts I may not understand right away.

Sewing has challenged me to breakdown big problems into pieces that’s come together through a very meticulous process!

Today was day one of cutting. This pattern requires about 76 straight cuts and I’ve only done 28!
I’ve gotten to appreciate the level of detail that comes with quilting and the PATIENCE it calls for.
It’s always a reminder that slow and steady wins the race.
