Today at the Elmvale Maple Syrup Festival we were joined by Haley Flatt and Sierra Hewitt, friends of Jayden's. They had a great day selling their slime. Not to be out done by her big sister, Abby, (5) wanted to contribute. She collected rocks, (large gravel really), painstakingly painted them and sat at the front of the booth yelling, "Rocks, get your rocks here. Only 25 cents". Let me tell you, people came and they gave her $1 and $2 and she went home with about $8. The smile on her little face made our day! The girl has grit and personality to succeed when big sister says you can't sell rocks! Just a fantastic day for all of us!
