I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you a little about my story. As a young girl from a small town, I would beg my mother to buy me the latest issue of Vogue. I would run the pages ragged, flipping through again and again, absorbing all I could of this faraway fantasy world. I knew I wanted to be a part of it. I honed my skills, sketching and sewing bag after bag, as I studied fashion design

in Toronto. Soon my passion took me to the U.S where I have spent the last few years designing handbags for global brands such as Fossil, Banana Republic and Aldo. My career brought me all over the world searching for the latest trends, colors and materials. It was a whirlwind. My heart brought me back to my hometown; I married my high school sweetheart and started a family. We have a beautiful daughter named Poppy. She inspired not only the name of the company, but a quest for functional fashion. As a new mom, I needed practical fashion and couldn't find it.
