EASTER BASKET GIVEAWAY!

We are so excited to team up with New Chapter Animal Rescue and a group of other animal loving small businesses to bring you the super fun and super unique Easter Basket Fundraiser!

Filled with goodies from Rosie Day Designs, Sweet Peep's Flower Crown, Silver Heart Designs , Bubbles & Such , Kozy Krafters and Paint of Interest Red Deer , these Easter Baskets are unlike any your average Easter Bunny would bring and we’re thrilled to say, the group of us are giving away, not one but TWO for free!

Welcome to our Social Media Easter Egg Hunt!

It’s fun, it’s easy and in the end, you’ve got the chance to win one of two customized Easter Baskets for your kiddo!

So what do you do?

1. Make sure and visit every sponsor on the list and FOLLOW their page! (We’ll be checking!)

2. Find their Easter Basket GIVEAWAY post (it’ll look like this one!) and COUNT the Easter Eggs in the graphic. (Write that number down!)

3. After you’ve visited and counted at all six pages, go back to the Original post on the New Chapter Animal Rescue page and COMMENT with your guess! (Don’t forget to count the eggs on the New Chapter post too! So that’s SEVEN PAGES worth of eggs!)

4. Not great at counting? That’s OK – you can also earn entries by tagging TWO of your friends who would love for New Chapter to play Easter Bunny! (Every two tags earn 1 entry.)

This is one of our favourite parts of the Little of This Market! It gives the littles a chance to do some shopping on their own for their parents and siblings! And each item is only $5 or $10!

❤️☃️🎁 🎅 Santa's Workshop is where kids 12 and under can purchase presents for their loved ones. It will be sectioned off and "hidden" from parents and other family members. You will provide the budget and the Little of This Market Elves will assist your child to find the perfect gift, pay the cashier and wrap it up! Santa's Workshop will be fully stocked with quality items provided by the below vendors for only $5 or $10. 💵 This will be an experience your little ones will love! 🛍💚

Natalie has been taking a sewing class at school and she brought home her first project!

She was pretty sad she couldnt use a machine OR do right sides together but I think it turned out pretty cute anyway!

I had big plans today...

I was going to make 6 of these sweet little baby dolls - a rainbow of skin colours and hair...all with a wee headband and swaddle blanket.

Today, I was going to FINISH this part of my market prep.

But the world had different ideas...tangled thread and broken needles...lost elastic and velcro...dull scissors and forgetting to mirror my pattern...

Today, I made one little swaddle doll...no where near the six I wanted.

But I drank a tea, I listened to MY music and two of my dogs snored soundly by my side...

So sometimes life hands you broken needles and lost elastic but you gotta find the bright in all the chaos...and relish it.

And admit it - this little thing? Turned out so flippin' cute!!!

Meet Jill!

At first glance, Jill might look like any other sweet Highland Cow, with her pink nose and her floppy hair…but don’t let that fool you!

Jill is an independent lady who will stick up for herself no matter what the cause. She’s got her beliefs and she’s got her morals and she’s got her opinions and she’ll do whatever it takes to fight for them!

But at the same time, Jill has a soft side. She loves spending time on the farm (and has taught herself how to use aaalll the equipment!) and especially loves hanging out with her laying chickens. There’s just something about those quiet mornings, when the sun just peaks over the horizon, sending pink rays blazing across the sky. The soft creak of the door on the coop as she opens it, her egg basket perched on her elbow and her little feathery friends clucking a gentle hello.

Jill would love to go home with her own little farm girl – one who doesn’t mind getting a little dirty but also appreciates the warm, quiet solitude of a morning on the farm.

For $60, Jill comes with matching hairbows – one for her and one for her new best friend and a set of little chickens and eggs for her to collect.

Our dolls are all made with new and upcycled fabric and double stitched for durability. They are made to be played with and get dirty and are machine washable. They contain no metals, so if needed, they can be held through CT scans, Xrays and MRI's.

And as always, for every doll purchased, we donate a doll to a child in need in Alberta!
