The Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel is coming up. Many Catholics practice a popular devotion of the Brown Scapular, thanks to her! Did you know there is also a Green Scapular of Our Lady? This devotion was entrusted by the Blessed Mother to Sister Justine, a Daughter of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, in 1840. This scapular contributes to the conversion of souls, especially unbelievers, and helps them obtain happy deaths. It features the Blessed Mother, her pierced heart, and a prayer. The small green scapular can be worn, but it is even said it suffices to place it near someone for whom it is intended.
