I just delivered some of my favorite pieces to for inclusion in the new and exciting . Things are well underway in this beautiful space and it’s going to be spectacular when it opens in the spring. Back 2 School is approaching and looks like masks will be mandatory. It's probably time for some fresh ones, ensuring good quality, comfort and breathability. All in-stock Child 2-6 and 6-10 Backyard Studios masks are Buy 4, Get 1 Free until August 19th. We will be closed from August 20-Sept 4 and unable to fill orders, so don't wait.

Get them before they're gone. For now I'm selling off all inventory and may make more but I'm not sure. Three weekend long art shows (Riverdale ArtWalk Aug 21-22, Cabbagetown Sept 11-12 and ArtWalk Square Sept 18-19 are keeping me busy.

If anyone is looking for something fun and safe to do this weekend, the annual Riverdale ArtWalk is online BUT, in conjunction with the show, some artists are setting up their tents outside in their own locations across Toronto. See link for locations.

It's a real live art show/tent tour! I will be at Art Alchemy Art Studio (89 Research Road in Leaside) with 7 other artists: Kate Taylor,, Lisa Litowitz Angela Lane Cherie Harte Marjolyn Vanderhart Artist Karen Jeffrey Roz Hermant. All original art by local artists.

I’ve been making masks for the past 15 months and it’s now time to get back into the studio. Waiting for the spraypaint to dry on this hot, sticky Saturday. Working on layers for some work in progress and excited to see where this will go. Only small bits of the first layers will be evident in the finished piece. I’ll be featuring my “tumblescapes” at Riverdale ArtWalk Tent Tour on June 19-20. A real live socially distanced art tour around Toronto. How many more sleeps?
