What is better than Linen? Possibly H**p.

Both are bast fibers and possess most of the same properties but h**p is stronger and even more eco-friendly to grow!

It requires little water, no pesticides and it’s excellent at fixing CO2 and preventing soil erosion.

We have added three new h**p jerseys produced by H**p Fortex one of the worlds premiere eco friendly vertically integrated h**p and yarn fabric producers.

These are all undyed and suitable for dying. In a variety of weights with and without spandex.

A new assortment of fine European linens just landed on the website. Milled in Poland 🇵🇱. These are high quality linens that break in beautifully and become softer with every wash while still holding their structure and character.

This drop includes:
• Mid-weight Heritage Polish linens in ivory, dark navy, faded turquoise, thistle, and rust
• Classic plaids in butter yellow and pale aqua
• Textural herringbone twill
• A striking linen jacquard snake print
• A painterly hydrangea print
• Indigo/ivory stretch linen blend shibori

A really versatile mix for dresses, trousers, shirts, jackets, skirts, and summer tailoring.

We also added a large selection of lightweight cotton yarn dyes earlier this week, very affordable and absolutely worth a look while you’re browsing.

New Tencel linens + printed linen blends

Our Tencel-linen wovens are here in soft, spring ready pastels, moss, baby blue, and lavender. Lightweight with a fluid drape, they combine the breathability of linen with the softness and drape of Tencel. An impressive 55% Linen 45% Tencel mix that is truly the best of both worlds.

We’ve also added digitally printed linen blends, with a subtle slub texture and bold florals that bring a bit more statement while keeping that same easy, wearable feel.

Fresh, versatile linen blends, perfect for spring sewing.

Sneak peek at our newest arrivals 👀

A big shipment just landed from Kokka Japan 🇯🇵 and we’re starting to get everything online now.

First up, these two beautiful prints created in collaboration with porcelain artist Mizacosha.

These are live on the website now, with more coming Friday, so keep an eye out.
Kokka consistently delivers some of the most unique, art-driven designs.

The clothes I’ve made from Kokka fabrics always get the most compliments. The fabrics are well suited to simple garments as they are works of art in their own right.

Up first: a beautiful new collection of digitally printed cotton-linen blends. They are breathable yet opaque and vibrantly printed - perfect for the sunshine. ☀️

We also restocked and added new colors to our embroidered cotton eyelets. We even managed to negotiate a slightly better price than last year, so we’ve passed those savings on to you! 😱
