As outdoor spaces begin to take shape, fabric selection becomes more than an aesthetic decision.

Not all textiles labelled outdoor perform equally. Fibre composition, construction, and exposure all influence how a fabric will endure, particularly on fully exposed terraces and rooftops.

In our latest Journal entry, we explore the materials most often specified for outdoor environments, including solution-dyed acrylic, polypropylene, and marine-grade vegan leathers, along with guidance on where each performs best.

Many of these textiles also transition beautifully indoors, particularly in hardworking spaces such as mudrooms, sunrooms, and cottage interiors.
