When I work, I’m not trying to create the darkest brow possible.

I’m carefully layering tiny amounts of pigment to create soft definition that heals beautifully over time.

That’s why I believe restraint is one of the most important skills a PMU artist can have.

A quick warning for anyone considering permanent makeup.

AI has made it easier than ever to create fake before-and-after photos and realistic-looking healed results.

The problem isn't the technology.

The problem is when those images are used to sell a level of skill or a result that may not exist in real life.

When you're choosing a permanent makeup artist, you're trusting someone with your face.

If the photos you're seeing aren't authentic, you could end up booking based on expectations that don't match reality.

That's why I created this post.

Not to scare anyone.

But to help you spot some of the clues that a healed photo may not be genuine.

Real healed results are usually taken weeks, months, or even years later.

That means there are often small differences:
• Hair placement
• Clothing
• Skin texture
• Facial expression
• Camera angle
• Lighting and reflections

Those details aren't flaws.

They're often the signs that a photo is actually real.

One of the biggest fears I hear about eyeliner tattooing is:

"What if I don't like the shape?"

And honestly? That's exactly why we don't just start tattooing.

Every eyeliner tattoo begins with a detailed pre-draw so you can see exactly where the liner will sit before any pigment is implanted.

You get to be part of the design process every step of the way:

✨ Approve the wing direction
✨ Adjust the thickness
✨ Make sure it complements your eye shape

Nothing is tattooed without your approval.

Her reaction today really stayed with me and reminded me that it’s never really just about beautiful brows.

When you’ve spent years feeling unhappy with something you see every single day in the mirror, finally feeling GOOD again can be emotional.

This is why I’ll always believe permanent makeup is about more than brows. It’s about confidence, self-image, and feeling beautiful in your own skin.

Not a full classic liner,
Not as minimal as a lash enhancement.
Just something soft, a little smoky, with a tiny wing.

It still looks like eyeliner,
But a bit more diffused and effortless.
