This morning while getting ready for school daughter (who is in kindergarten) said she needed her jewellery. She carefully chose these necklaces from her collection to wear. As I did the clasps up around her neck she said to me “one day I will do these necklaces up on my kids neck.”
It melted my heart to hear her say that. That they mean enough to her that she already plans to have them forever.
Today she is wearing her star-set emerald pendant, her monogram pendant and a vintage malachite pendant she has taken from my old jewellery collection from when I was a teenager. Jewellery is meant to last a lifetime, to be worn and enjoyed.

Have your kids chosen their Halloween costumes yet?
Are you dressing up?
I love Halloween. I love getting dressed up - the challenge of coming up with an idea and thinking of creative ways to execute it without having to buy a store bought costume.
This year my girls want to be a dinosaur and a mouse. The dino costume is one we bought when my eldest was little and she still likes to wear. My daughter who wants to be a mouse has been a cat for the last 3 years. I bought her some mouse ears and a tail at value village and I will pull together the rest. Not sure what I will be this year. I’m open to ideas!
Let me know what you or your family members are being! I love to hear all the ideas.
This picture is of my sister when she was about 3. We went trick or treating at my grandparents that year because my family was moving houses. Not sure who did her makeup 🤣.

Thanks so much to everyone who participated in my little giveaway and helped spread the word about my little business. Welcome to all those who joined in the fun, followed and played along. My girls had fun helping me fold all the entries and picking a winner tonight. They liked it so much they insisted we pick two winners instead of just one.
