Meet our Project Manager: Cristina Di Sotto ⭐️

Our Project Manager for the 2024 Event Planning and Budgeting event, Eco Closet, was Cristina Di Sotto. She was voted and selected by her peers after her presentation on why she would make a strong Project Manager. “She was very hard working, responsible, and motivational for her classmates.” Says Professor, Jennifer Reitano. She took this role to a new level and we are so proud of her. Thank you Cristina for your visionary leadership and passion towards the annual Eco Closet Event Planning and Budgeting project.

Let’s here from some of our team leaders😉:

Sarah and Romina - Social Media: “Cristina was the upmost of kind, considerate and her communication was Impeccable. You could tell she really cared about how well the event went - coming in multiple extra days to sort clothes, never minding the extra work load and always had a positive outlook on things! We truly believe Cristina was the BEST person for this position.”

Ellen - Graphic Design: “Dear Cristina, Thank you for all the supports, you were always patient and very understanding. You always try to help us as much as you can. You were at school every day last week to make sure everything went well. It’s really supportive. Thank you again for everything you did.”

Colleen - Budget Management: “Cristina has been an amazing project manager! She’s organized and proactive. Her ability to communicate clearly and delegate tasks effectively makes everything run smoothly. She’s always ready to step in and help, and her positive attitude keeps everyone motivated.”

Daniel - Technical Production: “Cristina is incredibly reliable and a great project manager without her the eco-closet wouldn’t have been possible.”

Cristina is going to go on to do GREAT things after Humber, and everybody who was apart of the Eco Closet event knows this to be true. We are so lucky to have had her as our project manager!

Meet the Social Media Team

Co leaders Sarah and Mina, with their team members Yulia, Mario, Alena, Kuljit, Ramandeep and Jashanpreet

The social media team took care of ALL instagram posts and the instagram live! We made videos and picture content to ensure we were spreading awareness for sustainability within fashion, Youth Without Shelter and to announce information about our event! Mina and Sarah worked closely together to make a content calendar, brainstorm ideas and create amazing content to promote the event we’ve all worked SO hard to create🤩 “Incredible work! I am so impressed with everything the team created! I’m so proud of them and couldn’t have done it without them!” Says Project Manager Cristina Di Sotto 💛

Huge shoutout to Mina and Mario who handled the instagram live on the day of the event, I am so impressed with how that turned out! Thank you to for collaborating with us as well 💛

Meet Graphic Design!

The Grophics team was made up of Ellen, the team leader followed by Silas, Owen, Rabab, Laura, Tia, Miranda and Hezekiah.

The graphic design team made all of our posters, save the dates, infographics for social media, posters for donation boxes, price lists and more! They really understood the colour theme we were going for and put together such cohesive and eye catching posters. I was SO impressed with the efficiency, communication and ex*****on of the graphic design team! “out and make my many many requests for adjustments! I really appreciate all the work they put into our event.” Says Project Manager Cristina Di Sotto 💙

Meet Technical Production!

Daniel, the team leader along with his team, Payten, Brandon, Nicole, Lashawn and Micaela

Technical Production is such a huge aspect of planing an event like this, and it wouldn’t have been possible without our team. They covered decorations, fitting rooms, logistics of the floor plan, tables and the backdrop for pictures! They did a wonderful job. The space was so easy to move around in, we had the perfect amount of supplies and they were so organized throughout the entire event. Payten & Daniel did an amazing job as our events MCs, making sure everybody in the area was safe and understood what our event was all about! “I thank them for making the event look amazing despite all little bumps in the road. They were really adaptable and great problem solvers!” Says Project Manager Cristina Di Sotto 💙

Meet the Production Team!

Lailah, the team leader, along with her teammates Juliet, Pooja, Kim, Mariam, Armita, Karla and Anmolpreet.

The Production team was in charge of making the run of show and making sure everything went smoothly, efficiently and according to plan! They represented the structure, framework, foundation of the event. They were SO on top of everything, so organized and the communication was incredible. “So professional and organized! I really appreciated the dedication to their work and for keeping us on track and on time throughout the day of our Eco Closet!” Says Project Manager Cristina Di Sotto 🤩

So thankful for Lailah’s team helping with the live stream run of show - I couldn’t have done it without them!

Meet Risk Management!

Team leader Manpreet, and her teammates Pawandeep, Shaan, Mandeep, Yeshey

Risk management was in charge of keeping everybody safe and they did exactly that! They were well prepared, knew the floor plan and exit protocols on the back of their hand, and were alert at all times. “Worked almost completely independently! They understood exactly what I was looking for and I could tell the day of our event that they took their job seriously.” Says Project Manager Cristina Di Sotto!

Meet Budget Management!

Colleen, the team leader along with her team members Channa, Maniot, Shasha, Nidhi, Jiya, Robinpreet and Rohit

Budget management is essential and typically the first step you look for when planing an event! Our budget management team did an OUTSTANDING job at providing our event with the most opportunity and resources possible. Securing our sponsors with .404 .tennis.school and is so impressive and great work. “The amount of communication and teamwork that the budget team exhibited was incredible and so amazing!“ says project manager Cristina Di Sotto 💛
