On July 2, Pawo Lobga Rangzen made the ultimate sacrifice in front of the United Nations, setting himself on fire while dressed in traditional Tibetan attire and holding the Tibetan flag high. He gave his life to call for freedom, justice, and Tibet’s independence.

On July 2nd, dressed in full traditional attire and holding the Tibetan flag high in front of the United Nations, Pawo Lobga Rangzen set himself on fire for freedom, justice, and Tibet’s independence. It was the ultimate sacrifice to ensure the world heard the cry of Tibetan souls.
Throughout his life, he stood as a tireless voice for our cause. His courage breaks our hearts, but his spirit fills us with unwavering pride. We will never forget his sacrifice.
To honor his memory and keep his voice echoing across the globe, the Windhorse Lab family collaborated with the International Rangzen Network - Toronto to create a special tribute T-shirt.
