A closer look at our new reversible “Raven” windbreaker/flight jacket. Taking its inspiration from a few styles namely the Barracuda McGregor Harrington style on the khaki 60/40 weather cloth side. The Tigerstripe side is riffing on incountry made bomber/flight jackets. The design back story for this bad boy is worn by an Air America pilot flying secret over the fence missions in SEA. Civilian Raven FAC (forward air controller) pilots in Laos were know for mixing in military kit with their civi’s. This jacket is the best of both worlds.

A couple of cool custom pieces we did for the film Slumberland. First up is this Navy Blue 15oz. Cotton Duck with a Navy Blue Melton Wool lined Reffer Jacket. Working off of the designer’s drawing, reference photo and a couple pieces in our collection we built this WWI USN inspired Pea Coat for Kyle Chandler’s character Peter. Next up was this early WWII RAF Mae West. We had to make this in a monster size as to properly fit over actor Andre Sills large frame and think shearling “Irvin” style Flight Jacket. We made two types one with a button webbing tie front and a second with a button and buckle webbing front closure.

KH “Patrol” pant in TAZ57 Leibermuster pattern camo aka “Alpenflage” A tailored more trim cut.Utility type front patch pockets. Welted back pockets and patch side cargo pockets with snap closer flap. Double and single needle straight stitch. Flatfelked double needle chainstitch construction in all seams. Bar tacks at all points of strain. Cats eye button and keyhole buttonholes.

KH “Dharma” reversible full zip “Deep Pile” fleece jacket in 1st pattern VNMC Tigerstripe. Japanese poly fleece body with cotton Gaberdine facing/binding. Hand warmer pockets on the pile side and one snap closure patch pocket on the knit side. Made in Toronto.
Inspired by early technical outerwear particularly 1970’s Patagonia “Toilet Seat Cover” fleeces. Seen worn around the Camp4 by some of the legendary Yosemite climbers know as the “Stone Masters”

KH “Forties” Indigo dyed slub and strike Dungaree jacket with contrasting chambray cuff facing and internal chest patch pocket. Vintage Wreath/Star donut button closure. Keyhole buttonholes. Flat felled double needle chainstitch seams. Single needle construction throughout.
