For the past few months we have been planning to get married here in Madeira. Since I'm Canadian and my BF is a European citizen I needed my documents certified to submit to the Portuguese civil office. Unfortunately some of them were rejected, and we needed to have them re done here in Portugal. It was a bit of a pain but it all worked out in the end. If you are planning to marry abroad reach out I can give you some tips. ❤️

These beautiful shrines are all over the island of Madeira and I'm always so drawn to them. Especially when they are surrounded by such beautiful lush tropical greenery...And the cat is ok, we discovered ear tipping is common here for strays. 🇵🇹💚
