Photos from our recent family vacation to beautiful Prince Edward County 🌻🌾🌞🍒 Moonlit gardens, farm dinners, lake caught tacos, deepening love, grown up babies and a new patchwork sundress at the heart of it all ♥️ Thank you to my husband for being my photographer and to my kids for understanding and appreciating that mummas work is such a special part of her life, just like them.

One of the most precious artifacts in our collection has always been a stack of hand-stitched antique quilt blocks, made long ago but never quite able to be finished. Often safety pinned neatly together or strung in one corner by a little cotton thread, squares of harrowing textile folk art sit and wait patiently, to be found, rescued and understood.

Placed at the heart of two beautifully designed bias-cut silhouettes with a gorgeous, customizable fit, Depression Era dresden plates, 1970s appliquéd flower baskets and early calico quilt stars have guided the flight of our latest story pieces.

Studio-sewn heirlooms in which old ways inspire new, our new collection celebrates summer, and the history of a lost and sacred art.

Went up to the farm with my family for a few days and brought the first pieces of our new collection. The barns are falling down and I wanted to capture them before they were gone ♥️

Lots to do this week but our plan is to launch on Thursday! These new pieces combine salvaged quilt blocks nestled between our own studio-made patchwork and I have been just blown away by the results.

I’m not a photographer and I’m definitely not a model but more and more I just need to keep things real. I got a tripod, and a new hat (with its very own aura), and took a walk around my neighborhood with a basket full of my favourite little tops (still needing a name). Anyways, I’m in love with this piece, I made one for myself last summer and now I’ve made them for you with all the sacred quilt top scraps I knew I’d find the perfect thing for one day. They’re launching tomorrow @ 12pm EST in lots of different combinations and a full size range for everyone to enjoy. A little summer send off from me to you just in time for sunshine, festivals and road trips to special places 🌞🦋🌸🌾
