h***y moments with Christopher Sherman Lore Magazine

shooting this has been some what of a dream come true. I have been a fan of Christopher Sherman work for years. As a gay man that grew up with a lot of shame around my s*xuality and s*x as a whole. He was this symbol of q***r resilience in a very humble and intimate way.

When talking to Diego Alejandro Law 羅達霖 🦦 about this. I was actually at what I would consider a “s*xual” awakening. There were so many pre conceived notions of what I thought it meant to be a gay man. In this shot we capture the dynamic between dom/sub daddy/boy. A kink I align with heavily. It was truly beautiful to be able to work with these q***r men and mix my kink with my art.

LOOK 24: ME for KENDRICK TRAN Studios

THE FEAR OF BEING SEEN recipient of the FASHN DISRPTR Award.

WOW… third collection in and I am officially an AWARD WINNING fashion designer. THIS IS WILLLDDDDD!

When I started my brand in 2022, I was looking for a way out. A way out of the life I was living; I hated my job, my living situation, who I was, and even more so, the fact that it felt like I didn’t have a choice. I felt stuck living a life I didn’t sign up for.

The brand became a way to speak my truth without feeling like I was begging. Clothing to me is about speaking without words, without permission. In a world that try’s to silence your voice, how do you speak without screaming? This is my response.

My shows are always a clear representation of my mental health. Of what I went through in the last year and what I learned from it. For 20-30 mins you get to live inside my head.

Last year was a really hard year for me. I spent most of it feeling like I was the problem. It was so overwhelming that I felt frozen. I was the loneliest I’ve ever been. I clinged to whoever would be in my life and made them my life line. That is how I started dating for the first time… I was looking for someone to save me.

After my 27th birthday in October. I decided I need to make a change. I chose to save myself. I started to run, rock climb, play dodgeball and take pottery more seriously. I wanted to live beyond my job and my self pity.

In doing so I began to really fall in love with the person I was becoming. That is what inspired the collection. It tells the story of me begging for help, then picking myself up off the ground and becoming the person I’ve always wanted to be. It’s about resilience.

MY FIRST HALF-MARATHON!!!

Achieving this milestone is a hard one to put into words.

I got into running last November. I wanted to prove to myself that I could do hard things. This run showed me exactly why I love running.

I have never run this much in my life. Running 21km with a large group of strangers? That felt so intimidating.

I started the race with my sister in a crowd of thousands of people. All running the same race for individual reasons.

What kept me going was seeing all of the people cheering on the sides, people pushing their friends, seeing the same people cheering at multiple points throughout the race, knowing that I was going to see my people along the way and at the end.

It was truly beautiful.

Once I hit the 7km mark, I was prepared to start to struggle. The opposite happened. For the first time in my life I experienced the runners high! I had a smile on my face the entire time. I didn’t want to stop. The next 10km flew by. And the last 4km were a push, I wanted ti end strong!

Then in the end, seeing all of the people waiting and cheering, pushed up against fences just to try and see their friends finish their race. It made me emotional. I was so proud of myself for pushing myself to do something I never thought I would and to see the love the running community gets and has to offer. Is nothing short of amazing.

running.

Running is something I’ve wanted to pick up for a very long time. But I never understood how someone could enjoy just continually pushing your body and being in their head for long periods of time.

Last year was a really hard year for me. A lot of learning about who I am, who I was and who I wanted to become. Spent most of the year in my head.

I started to see running as a way to push your body and make peace with presence. Then I started looking for community. I joined .run and started meeting people that just liked to exercise and socialize.

Run club became a core part of my week.

I got to run with the .run team in a Half Marathon Team Relay for .trip.run.series .athletics and I am so grateful to have these images to capture this moment with the team!

On the carpet for the Star-fleet Academy Premiere

I have always been obsessed with space. Actually my first tattoo I ever got was an astronaut falling into space. I used to lay on the ground and star up at the sky, thinking about how serious we take our lives on earth. Yet there is so much about this universe that we don’t know. That existentialism felt oddly comforting.

So when and reached out to me to dress them for the and it was an easy yes!!

One of my biggest goals for 2026 is to dress more people and attend more events. This was exactly what I needed to get the year started. I am so so grateful to them for this opportunity to feel special and feel like I was in a space where I as a space nerd and a designer felt seen and valued.

As well as getting to meet and him buying one of my pieces during their studio visit really made me feel like all these years of hoarding clothes in my studio are going to be worth it!

finally got my name on a front row seat!

I've watched fashion shows on my phone for as long as I can remember. I always wanted to teleport through the screen and be in one of those seats.

I truly believe that fashion shows are an immersive experience that even though you can watch them again. You have to be there in person to truly experience it.

I am so grateful to .ca .ca for inviting me and making this dream a reality.

Congratulations to .billion and on an amazing 3 day 3 venue fashion week!
