“Skateboarding saved my life” Phrase I’ve heard for a long time but never given much thought myself until recently. We all here for a reason, many different reasons. From the skaters still skating from when i was a kid to the all the new skaters showing up daily in the scene. Everyone has there struggles but they are rarely ever talked about. Maybe we just don’t feel comfortable talking (something I struggle with) or maybe there’s hasn’t been a environment comfortable enough to start these conversations. Let’s change that. Open invitation to all black identifying skaters to come and hang out enjoy the vibes for the day, skate with others, & share some of your stories. I know what skating means for me and can honestly say I would not be the person I am today with out it! Stop by Dunbat this Saturday and join us for Great vibes all day!!
