Owning a small business has changed the way we see a lot of things.

We think more about where we shop, how we pay, the reviews we leave, and how we respond when something doesn’t go quite right.

There’s so much that happens behind the scenes that customers never see, and being on this side of things has given us a much better appreciation for all the people working hard to keep small businesses going.

Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we’re thinking of residential school survivors, the children who never came home, and their families.

All 60 of our orange shirts sold out, raising $1,500 for two funds:

The Native Northwest Reconciliation Fund, supporting individuals and families still affected by residential schools and intergenerational trauma.

The Ontario Indigenous Women’s Empowerment Fund, advancing education, training and opportunities for Indigenous women in Ontario, and supporting poverty relief and community development.

Thank you to everyone who bought a shirt and helped make this happen. 🧡
