I'm having posting issues with my ragandbolt Instagram so I'm back on FB in the meantime. This week is jacket week, and I'm presenting a gorgeous cropped Lacroix jacket made of wool suiting, worn with a worsted A-line skirt. There are lots of new garments in the works which I hope to get photographed soon.

Warm holiday greetings to you all from me and Rag+Bolt.
I have switched from FB to Instagram (same address: ragandbolt) so please check me out there. I will now begin posting regularly on that site.
The coat shown here is an oldie but goodie: wool tweed, lined with white polka dots on black, the entire garment is cut on the bias hence the lovely drape. I made it a decade ago and have made others in this design out of linen.
All the best to you all and I hope to see you on Instagram. Thank you for all your support and enthusiasm for R+B over this past year.
Lora x

Rag+Bolt (Ragandbolt) is now on Instagram! For the remainder of this year I'll be posting R+B's greatest hits (some of which you will recognize, perhaps you even have some of them in your personal wardrobe).

The Autumn/Winter racks came out again for friends/clients who could not attend the Open House. Below are some of the garments that were picked up by the stylish visitors.

I love the Montana dress. So simple, so minimalist, so flattering. And many of you love it, too, as they have been flying off the rack. Today I finished a teal-blue cashmere/wool Montana coat which is similarly minimalist in design. It's a coat I've been making for over a decade and I have in my personal wardrobe the original made of wool/silk herringbone and lined with the precious foxy lining (i.e. little fox motif, not the fur). Instagram still in the works. Thanks for your patience.

What a pleasure it was to welcome regular+new clients to the R+B open house this weekend. It was a delight to feel the vibe of previous days with you all trying things on and commenting and making helpful suggestions and frankly having fun dressing up! Below is a catalogue of some of the beauties that were taken away to be worn in bliss+comfort by R+Bers.
The highlight of this weekend was welcoming Holden. Thank you for coming and I hope you enjoyed your journey home in you R+B newsboy cap in which your looked like a c.1935 East London chap selling broadsheets on Hackney Road. Fabulous!
One item was literally bought off my back, a fav garment I made more than a decade ago and have always loved. I rarely give up a beloved R+B garment, but, hey, it looked more beautiful on this lovely, chic new client than it ever did on me so I said farewell to the coveted garment knowing it was going to be appreciated+admired on the fashionable streets of Quebec City.
Thank you all for your support this weekend. Next Open House will happen after the snow has come and gone -- with climate change that date can not be predicted. But you are always welcome.

An excellent day at the R+B atelier -- such a treat to be able to see some of you in person and witness you in R+B garments that have been lonely for a warm body for a year and a half. Below are some of the gorgeous garments that went wandering to a new home today.

Still haven't got my Instagram set up so in the meantime it's the old Facebook. Midnight navy worsted wool mens suiting medium leg Carnaby trousers with matching Tina waistcoat (electric blue shantung back). Ralph made the silk shirt. Also, a silk charmeuse shadow-print Kristen shirt which I love - I'd rather like to sleep in it, but it is rather too precious.
Hope to see you at the open house Friday and Saturday 12-6.00.

The Samurai wrap dress is a R+B fav. I've made it out of linen, cotton seersucker, denim chambrey and silk shantung. This is a new venture as I've given it long sleeves and made it out of wool suiting. Instead of wrap ties I've given it buttons and buttonholes art the waist. I like the result. I hope you do, too. It will be on the rack next weekend 12-13 November 12-6 (Sunday 14 by appointment),
