So last week I got a second hand email telling me that Nygard Direct Sales was done and just like that my job and passion of three years was gone. The year started with r**e and trafficking charges for Peter Nygard, which he denies but of course that put a hold on “my business”. Then last week we were told the company is in receivership and our division is over. It has been one lie after another, they are still taking customers money and not shipping out clothes.
I loved my job and the ladies I worked along side with and I was happy to sell clothes that were from a Canadian company that had been in business for 50 years. I worked hard at it and being one of the top Team Leaders in North America I was very excited to be on cover of the spring catalog which now no one will see. I’ve also lost two fabulous trips that I won through my accomplishments & no one has been paid for two months. Many people have lost their jobs because of greed and running a business in bad faith. Even though I am mad at how this all went down, I am happy to have made life long friendship with amazing ladies. Thank you to everyone who has supported me over the years, I have met many wonderful ladies who loved the clothes and a lot of terrific hostess.
Once we are all out of self isolation I will be having a blow out sale to clear my dining room out of clothes. Happy Monday! 🍀 @ Nygard International
