To my family, friends, and all of my loyal and amazing customers,
After much thought, I have made the difficult decision to stop accepting new orders at Into the Unsewn indefinitely.
I have accepted an exciting opportunity in Cobourg as an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator. While I’m looking forward to this new chapter, it also means pressing pause on a business that has been such a meaningful part of my life.
When I started Into the Unsewn five years ago, I never imagined where this journey would take me. It has been a chapter filled with unforgettable experiences, incredible opportunities, countless lessons, and friendships that I will always treasure.
Along the way, I’ve been so lucky to have met so many kind, supportive, and inspiring people throughout Trent Hills and beyond. Your encouragement, trust, and loyalty have meant more to me than words can express. Every order, every conversation, and every recommendation helped shape Into the Unsewn into more than just a business—it became a community and a true passion.
From teaching hand sewing to expanding into industrial sewing, this journey has helped me grow not only as a seamstress but also as a person. I am so grateful for every project I was trusted with and for every customer who chose to support my small business.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Into the Unsewn over the past five years. Whether you placed an order, shared my work, recommended me to a friend, attended a class, or simply cheered me on from afar, you helped make this dream a reality. I could never have done it without you.
As one chapter comes to a close, another begins. While it’s bittersweet to step away from Into the Unsewn, I’m excited to see where this new opportunity leads. Although I will no longer be accepting alterations or appointments, I’ll still be spending time in my studio creating and working on my own personal projects.
