Be sure to check out WoolstockEAST an incredible fibre festival hosted by this Friday and Saturday. The Festival Marketplace features a huge variety of over 50 vendors offering fleece and yarn, hand spinning and fibre crafting equipment and supplies, handcrafted wool items, hand woven baskets, and much, much more. Admission is $10/day or $15 weekend pass. Hours are Friday, September 5th (12pm to 6pm) Saturday, September 6th (10am to 4pm)

We have a change room in our booth so you can try on your new favourite merino wool clothing that you will wear on repeat all winter long. Custom fittings available on site to ensure a perfect fit! KNITTERS and CROCHETERS Attn please!!! I recently took a beginners knitting workshop in Truro and to say I am obsessed with my new passion would be an understatement. When I started my first project I quickly realized I would need a bag that I could bring everywhere with me that housed my knitting project and accessories. After searching the globe I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for so I decided to create something that would suit my needs. I used waxed canvas which is waterproof and leather because they’re both durable, stylish and age well. The exterior has 3 pockets to fit a cell phone, wallet and keys. No need to bring a purse! The interior has slots and pockets to organize your accessories. If you enjoy colour work, there are 3 grommets on the large interior pocket to feed your yarn through so you won’t get tangled up and your yarn never has to leave your bag so it can stay nice and clean and no more rolling balls across the floor! What do you think knitters and crocheters? Any interest if I start making these?
